Earlier this month, I had the honor of being featured in the Entreprenista League member spotlight. In the interview, I shared my journey to founding Mundo Resources, the challenges and lessons I’ve learned along the way, and what’s ahead for my business.
Here are a few highlights from my story:
Why I Started Mundo Resources
After a decade in corporate HR, I saw how the right people strategies could transform both employee experience and business success. I launched Mundo Resources to bring that expertise to small and mid-sized businesses; helping them build cultures of transparency, appreciation, and equitability.
The Leap Into Entrepreneurship
I never set out to be an entrepreneur. But I reached a point where I wanted to fully live out my values and vision, rather than adapt to someone else’s. With encouragement from my community, I took the leap! I discovered that entrepreneurship is the biggest journey of self-discovery I’ve ever experienced.
Biggest Lessons Learned
- Permission: Trust that you’re enough, and give yourself permission to start.
- Community: Entrepreneurship can feel isolating, but building strong connections makes all the difference.
What’s Next
I’m thrilled to be co-creating People Leader Learning with my longtime friend, Brandi Spurling. It’s a self-paced platform designed to equip leaders with practical, people-first strategies that actually work. No fluff!
Advice for Aspiring Entrepreneurs
No one has it all figured out. Growth happens through community, generosity, and putting yourself out there.
